how did people feel about the film?

What did everyone think of the film out of curiosity?

I thought it was very beautiful and posed more of a question about our surrounding environment and what we are doing with our lives. We can look at it from a philisophical standpoint in that what shall we do in this environment where things are rapidly changing (which I believe is a theme) and how do we as the younger generation function within the world where things move so fast? I may be off very much, but I was left with many questions by the end about what should we do? Politics are rapidly changing, the environment (city, forests, etc.) are changing, and we're here to live. Do we accept this and try and make change while living in modern environment or do we just float around and just live?

Like I said I may be very off with my thoughts, but I think the film raises a question at the end that's like something of what I mentioned. I'm curious what everyone else thinks?

I found this a beautiful, lyrical film about trying to recapture a past that is perhaps lost forever. This film works best when there is not dialogue, because I suspect there were feelings the characters could not voice, and to do so would have destroyed the spirit.

I have to say that I think the characters' attempt to "get back to nature" was clouded by the use of the cell phone and substances like beer and pot, but obviously that was the point of the film, that many people cannot leave behind the crutches of modern society when they try to get back to nature. And yes, I'm aware that marijuana is a natural substance, but trust me: Nature looks just fine without it.

Excellent use of music also.

8 stars out of 10.

It amazes me that people gave this movie 10 out of 10. There is no plot for which there cannot be any spoilers. I was waiting for something to happen and it never did. I will remember this movie but not for all the right reasons. All I know is that you cannot go back on friendships and expect them to be as they were, people rarely change, but life moves on.
