After seeing the state of Benigna's face though... Isn't mouth to mouth kind of pointless? Idk. I know nothing about first aid.
shareYes, it would have been pretty pointless. The majority of the air that he breathed into Beninga's mouth would have just escaped through her open jaw. Not gone down her throat.
Though I know a lot of First Aid classes don't even bother to teach mouth-to-mouth anymore because recent studies found that interrupting chest compressions to give someone mouth-to-mouth can actually be more harmful than just doing chest compressions on their own. So even if her face wasn't injured, it would have been more effective just to stick to chest compressions.
