I thought this movie was boring, dull, cliched and generic. It's the sort of film they kept making in America throughout the 70s and 80s. I just felt I had seen it all before.

I agree. So many cliches in it. And the woman freaking broke her leg while running in the sand in ankle-deep water. Bone right through the leg. She's like Samuel Jackson from "Unbreakable."

Please name five other movies just like this as you say it's generic and cliched.

The twist might not be the most inventive, but the execution of the movie is what really makes it memorable: the visuals, the set, the clothes, the acting, mood, etc.
