AWFUL..AWFUL..AWFUL

I personally think it wasn't worth my time. I have a huge movie collection and in principle I watch everything for both work and leisure but I must say that this miniseries was hugely disappointing.
It was slow, repetitive and the director (and DoP) work was quite annoying stretching every scene to the extreme jumping around with the camera repeating the same thing over and over.
After 2 third of the movie I decided to fast forward (I never do that, only in very rare situations when I am really tired of something but I want to anyway watch it to the end) keeping the subtitles on. Even so it became predictable and could anticipate the "twists" if there were any.
I think it has been one of the worst SciFi film I have watched and even though I have over 12000 titles in my collection I decided to give this title away, really I don't even want to keep it as I am quite annoyed for the time I wasted watching it.

I am a BIG fan of those things, and yet I thought it sucked in every imaginable way . So I think you are assuming a lot without any merit.

An insight I'm sure you will claim to you possess. That's very humble of you.
Look, the truth is that the film was terrible in so many ways: writing, editing, directing etc. But I will agree with you that Bell is hot and Stoltz is a good actor.
I am surprised that Singer would make such crap, but I guess the crapiness of Dean Devlin was even too much for Singer, he was outmatched.

That's a pretty arrogant thing to say, wouldn't you say?
I am always dubious of people not being able to criticize a product (when I say "criticize", I mean listing good reasons/WHY?). It really is a talent in itself. If you want a good scifi film that ran on scify, watch "5ive Days of Midnight". MUCH better story and actors. But here is a honest look on it (I see and admit to the flaws despite liking it): the end is a complete cop-out and the slow-mo effects are really annoying! Other than that, if you thought The Triangle was half-decent, then you will love 5DTM. Enjoy!

Kupotoek, does it hurt?

This is by far one of the worst mini series out there, awful dialogue, terrible writing, at least had decent actors. I still can't belive this is the same director who directed the wonderful storm of the century.
