Was Ray ever considered to play Jack Reacher? Books have the Reacher as a big fella with a sardonic way in almost any situation. I think Ray fits the bill in every way. Sorry. In ALMOST every way. He's not on the A-list, which as we know, is much more important to the success of a movie than any faithful interpretation of book characters.
