Jesse James/No Country/There Will Be Blood?

Which of these three 2007 released movies did you like the best? All three were phenomenal for me, watched The Assassination of Jesse James for the 3rd time in the summer, first time in a few years, and it was the first time I fully appreciated the film. I now rate it as my favourite movie of all time. (The first two viewings were when I was about 15/16). I also watched There Will Be Blood in the summer, the 2nd time I have seen it, and was blown away.

TWBB was my favorite of the three, followed by TAoJJbtCRF (lol, that's a fun acronym to type...). NCFOM was my least favorite, although I know lots of people who think it's amazing.

My other favorite films from 2007 are Gone Baby Gone, Zodiac, Hot Fuzz, Atonement (I loved the novel as well), I'm Not There, The Mist (movie was only ok IMO but I LOVED how the ending was changed, and much better than the short story's). Also, American Gangster wasn't bad.

Other 2007 movies on my list to watch: Persepolis, The Man From Earth, 5 Centimeters Per Second, The Orphanage, Encounters at the End of the World, Butterfly on a Wheel, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Alone, & [REC]. Any opinions on those flicks?

Those were my 3 fave films of 07. Great year for cinema. 2015 is gearing up to be too with Sicario, Black Mass, The Hateful Eight, The Revenant.

I couldn't finish Jesse James, it was too boring for me- I really tried to give it a chance, but I just wasn't able to. No Country for Old Men is a great movie, but highly overrated. There Will Be Blood is my favorite movie of all time - I really don't know what it is about that movie that makes me love it so much. It's a truly spectacular film.

There Will Be Blood is good movie. I don't care for No Country For Old Men. So The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford is my pick. Its just such a well made movie and so underrated.

I think the Assassination of Jesse James is my favorite one.
It's a bit of a shame: There Will be Blood seemed like the more obvious "artsy" choice and No Country for Old Men like a more straight forward thriller. This one seemed to have fallen in between and therefore getting overlooked.

There Will Be Blood is easily the best and the only one that I might dare to call a great movie. Jesse James is a distant third in this comparison as far as I'm concerned.
