I don't get why they discuss top secret stuff like assassinations , missions and so on while drinking coffee in a public place with dozens of people around.

shareI'm sure the idea is it's an inconspicuous and random place, so it's unlikely to be bugged or surveiled. Also, with as much ambient noise that a restaurant produces,even a long range listening device would be difficult to use.
