Great Script - Blah movie

I read an earlier draft of the script and it was so much better than the final product. The focus of the script was on Leslie and the focus of the movie was on Taylor, the interviewer.

Here are some things that didn't make it into the film

Leslie's friend Eugene's wife was Eugene's final girl. Which was a source of embarrassment because that isn't supposed to happen.

Leslie has a card game where his friends Jason, Freddy, Mike Myers come over and they each have differing personalities and react with the film crew differently.

Leslie has a drug problem and needs an intervention. Supposedly not uncommon to the slashers.

His friends really respect him and think he can be the greatest of them all.

And the scene showing him running like crazy when no one is looking so he can keep up with victims while they think he is walking.

Finally The crew never goes with him on the actual killing spree. The survivor girl he has been stalking is the actual survivor girl. The film stays a documentary to the end

There were some good parts to the end of the final film, but overall I preferred the script.

I would love to see the original script, those parts sound like they would've made for a better movie. Any link to it? Or any link to the final script? I've had no luck finding it. Also the quotes in the quote section suck. I have been searching high and low for the quote of Leslie Vernon explaining the counterbalance of good and evil. Can anyone provide me with that quote?
