Crying...

I'm a grown man of 30 and the ending made me cry!

Anyone else share a similar experience?

Okay Pixar....STOP IT!!!

I just watched TS3 on Bluray and cried my eyes out. I liked 1 & 2 but 3 ties them all together. I loved Up and had heard people talk about TS3. But didn't think that Disney/Pixar could top Up. Boy am I wrong.

I think that people are for the most part driven by the story, like Walt Disney always made movies to be. I know that viewing the history of Disney like most producers have created a few lemons but the memorable ones are so endearing. Disney's collaboration then eventual purchase of Pixar was one of the best moves. The feeling of this movie comes through with a strong and very memorable and timeless. It has always been about STORY STORY STORY. Thank you Disney and Pixar for this movie. I know that you will top this and can't wait for it.

Oh did I mention that I am 53 years old man and did not really have a lot of toys growing up so I really cherish the feeling of this and how Andy felt about his toys.

Yup, I cried. Lump in my throat, stopped-up nose, both eyes tear-filled and wet cheeks. And I wouldn't have changed a thing.

I'm a 46 yr. old father of two girls: 19 and 16. This movie series has been an anchor for my family for 15 years. We took the girls to see the first one when it was released and of course purchased it on VHS immediately upon its release. Watching it pretty much daily was the norm for my girls. The term, "narrate 'em verbatim" couldn't be any more apropos! Then we of course went to see TS2 when it came out and once again bought it, this time on DVD of course and the daily watching started once again.

My girls are grown now each with full agendas, commitments, etc. which made it difficult to pin down a night when we could again see it in a theater as we had twice before - but as it turns out, that was okay. It was okay because watching it together at home on DVD allowed us to comment at will about the various things that took place on screen and perhaps more importantly to be able to back up a few scenes to see and hear what we had just missed due to us all laughing! That was awesome. As the end of the movie approached and the LED display on the DVD player served as evidence that not only the movie was coming to a close but an era as well, the atmosphere became very melancholy and perhaps even sad. That, of course set the tone for the waterworks that occurred as soon as the scene between Bonnie and Andy started. And although we each had our favorite characters/toys of the bunch, Woody was the owner of our heartstrings.

Yeah, we all cried: my wife and my youngest daughter the most and they held each other as the movie came to an end.

This was a great movie for so many reasons. The most poignant of all, for me anyway, was what it represented in terms of the end of the collective childhoods of my kids. This series was part of their lives for nearly all of their lives and soooooo many memories can be attributed to them along the way.

And, just as the toys were passed on to the next generation so too will this movie series be introduced to my grandchildren when that time comes.

Thank you PIXAR for the memories. They will always be cherished in this average, run-of-the-mill, middle-class, American family.

Yeah, I was Bolloxed for the last 10 minutes after the incinerator scene. Powerful stuff. I haven't cried like that since Schindlers List. Some parralles there too.

I felt very happy and sad at the same time and also wanted to cry at the end.

I'm also 30 as well and the first Toy Story came out HALF OF MY LIFETIME ago, that's 15 years..a long time!

I have watched all 3 movies and every time they came out I was at a different time in my development as an adult. This movie struck a chord with a lot of us grown up, in ways that some of the younger audience will not understand.

I am a bit late on this topic but I cried too. I am 28 and have watched all the Toy Story Movies.

The reason I think I cried is because I felt like Andy's toys were all of our toys. We have watched them get out of one situation to the next and the ending for Toy Story 3 was overwhelming. I loved my toys when I was a kids. I still have a couple of them that my kids play with.

But yes this movie made me cry especially when Bonnie tried to take Woody away from Andy and he reacted the way he did.

I'm 26 years old and I cried like a baby at the end. I watched it with my mom and she cried as well. I have to say, the people over at Pixar are really good at making grown-ups get all emotional. They do it so well!
