So, what's the general consensus on this?
The reviews seem to be mixed. I've seen some good reviews and some bad reviews.

shareit's entertaining, but that doesn't make it a "good" movie.
just fun to watch.
Unless the uncut version really puiles on the gore, it's sucks total ass. Watched it on Scifi because I heard it was better than the first and I actually LIKED the first (bad, cheesy, but so much that it's good, plus zombies head exploding every few minutes = good) but turns out, it was pretty awful. I have seen worse, but I still felt I wasted my 90 minutes.

violence and gore dont make a movie good or bad.
no use having accurate systems of the internal organs if they actors turn it into a comedy
it borders on being one of the worst movies ever made... it's worse than Starship troopers 2 if that gives you an idea of how bad it is...

I thought that it was a bad film, but at the same time I found it to be enjoyable. Kind of like the first House of the Dead flick, but I thought this was better than the first.

Looks like you forgot to take your anti-retard pills again.
It's a zombie movie, so it's not going to be spectacular. And it was staright to video. i found it enjoyable for what it was, a cheesey zombie movie.

That is total B.S.
Look at just look at 28 Days Later, Dawn of the Dead '78, Dawn of the Dead '04, Cemetery Man, Day of the Dead, Dead Alive, Return of the Living Dead...
Not one will win an Academy Award, but all worth the ticket price. They all bring something different to the table, but the main course is ZOMBIES.
But, I agree, this was an enjoyable cheesy zombie movie. Especially for straight to video.

A small step in the right direction, but still way off course.
shareIt was bad, but funny, because it was so bad. It was at least ten thousand times better than the first one, I think its mainly due to the fact Uwe Boll wasn't directing it. I was watching it on SciFi and my heart felt so much lighter when I saw the directed by credit and it didn't have Boll's name on it.
shareIt was better than the Uwe Boll crap film we refer to as House of Dead 1.

It could have used more Lois Lane nudity.
"Shall we raise our shields, Captain?"
"At ease, Chekov. Again with the shields?"
Even though the male lead (Ellis) is a totally obnoxious a**hole and everything get pretty stupid during the last 20 minutes it was not terrible. It moves at a pretty good pace and delivers what you expect from a zombie film. No matter how much some people grumble about it I still liked it better than either Doom or Resident Evil Apocalypse.
"I know I shouldn't be asking you this. I'm up a tree with this guy. I mean...Man!"
i enjoyed this, but it was way to predictable. i was yelling at the TV for most of the movie of the complete stupidity of the characters. they call them zombies so you would think they have seen a zombie movie before.
did this movie have any correlation to the original, if it did i missed it.

What I saw of it looked pretty sh*tty entertaining. Real cheesy and bad acting. I good rainy afternoon popcorn & beer movie. I'm debating picking it up for $6.99 at Best Buy.
