the movie deserves better than this. i dont understand.....

It's taken me a long while to get round to watching this movie.
A good solid performance from Bale and Co, I really enjoyed it.
There was some excellent dialogue and development in the characters relationships and the whole feel of the movie worked for me.

I gave it a 9.

Slapped a 9 straight on this...
A 7 is much lower than what I thought it would have on IMDB expecially when comparing to similar films.

Bale and Rodriquez killed it.

Eight of ten ... from a Vietnam combat vet. My heart went out to the protagonist; but once he blasphemed, that was it ... dead meat. Recommended to my FIVE adult sons whom I threatened with physical harm if they joined up ... none ever did ...

Movies are personal stuff and i dont care if the majority dont like the movie i like.. We're all unique and rating are just kind of guidelines..
