What about despising the perpetrator?
A lot of posters on this board wrote, and I will let you be the judge if they were "right", "wrong" or "just factual", about child molesters here and even paedophilia often from the point of view of knowing the facts (and taking a neutral and not too judgemental a tone in discussing such issues), looking at it from victims points of view (valid of course no doubt) and even talking about potential confusions (like people even asking "How many know and care..." etc) but what I also wonder, and given what we see in this film as well...
What about despising such individuals and not only thinking they are wrong but condemning them as well? And IF say they get away with it with law, punish them via vigilante-esque justice, like we have seen in plenty of movies including this one?
Or is that counterproductive EVEN WITH THE FACT that those who DO such things are of course EVIL individuals and that such sexual crimes including against minor are considered among the top few worst offenses ever, by civilized people and especially those who have experienced it themselves?
So what about looking at it from that point of view?
Or is this matter even with those factors in mind rather complex and we shouldn't indulge even in justifiable one-sided hatred here, cheers.
