the movie was decent until the garbage ending. I'm willing to suspend the disbelief that she didn't hear him breathe in the backseat or whatever. I'm also willing to suspend disbelief that he beat her to the car, and out smarted her, despite being retarded or whatever. I also give it a pass on the fact that she took all those wild turns and his fat ass kept his balance and didn't get noticed.

.. On second though nah im not gonna.. the movie couldnt been fine killing the lead character, but it was executed SO SO badly.

How about the fact that a LARGE MAN had the space to ram a HUGE chainsaw into someone from behind in that tiny car? That always bugged me.

These have to be the stupidest young people with the worst bad luck.

They get chased by a biker bitch with a shotgun only to slam into a cow, then be kidnapped by a psycho madman impersonating a sheriff. No one in the car wreck can find or reach the gun under the seat, though a loony old tow truck driver can. How often does that happen in real life?

To add insult to injury, they get tortured multiple times, a few barely escape before being caught again, and again. At no point do any of them think that it is a good idea to carry a weapon ALWAYS. Yes, Chrissie did have a knife for a short time and losses that too. Another dude helps her when she falls in the meat factory and gets rammed by Leatherface. Instead he SHOULD have continued fighting Leatherface until he was stopped! Goddamnit, find a metal rod or something.

The retarded Leatherface is smarter than anybody else.

what is wrong with you people, you complain about something so common in horror movies. You really haven't seen that old elephant-behind-the-backseat-that-no-one-notice trick in any of horror movies? This just happen to kill off final girl, and if you haven't seen that one coming, you really haven't seen that many horror movies.

I even suspend disbelief of Leatherface growing his arm back and other characters acting like scripted, because this was essentially the same movies as TCM remake from 2003, only with some more blood splatters and gore.

I recommend the Chainsaw Devil fanedit, the ending is much much better.

Agreed. I knew Christie had to die for the film to make sense as a prequel but he execution was horrible. They went for some sort of shock value but left out all logical standpoints

I was more pissed off about the other guy who turned his back on a giant psychopath with a chainsaw, instead of making sure he couldn't get up and impale him.
