Normally I like her
But I just wanted to slap her in just about every scene she was in. Her character was just an annoying little brat.

Worst character in a movie ever.... Would have fit in a horror movie, maybe they got confused on the daily call sheet and the director thought he was shooting a horror movie so told her to scream constantly.

START THE REVOLUTION! SHRED THE GOVERNMENT! My favorite movie is V for Vendetta.

It's obvious Spielberg wore earplugs anytime Dakota was on camera. Unfortunately the movie audience didn't have any such luxury...

Exactly. The director is, at least, partially to blame. After all, Dakota was merely doing what the director told her to do.

I'm pretty confident that Spielberg knows what he is doing when he directs a movie.

Normally I dislike her.
In this film I was willing, praying that her character would be squashed or obliterated by the death ray.
I mean, what *beep* kid eats hummus???

I grew up in conservative suburban Texas and we always ate hummus. That stuff is delicious.

Couldn't stand her! What made them think this character would be endearing to the audience? If that's what they thought, not sure. Whatever, they failed miserably with her character. Detestable!

I love children in real life but Dakota's character was one child I wanted to see evaporated by those gangly ass alien giants.
