Jennifer Aniston completely misplaced

I get the feeling Jennifer Aniston was only hired because she's a household name.
She was cute in Friends, but she has mediocre abilities, no charm and her looks are average (especially compared to Melissa George). It just isn't believable that she is so seductive that a faithful husband would cheat on his wife with her, nonetheless sacrifice so much.
To me, she is just completely "meh". Not to mention her name among the cast instantly labels the film as second rate.

Anyone else feel the same?

When she got shot it was clear she was out of her league. She looked more like someone spilled a drink on her rather than dying from a gunshot wound. Charlize Theron would have been a better choice for the role.

Correct.I cannot see an A list actressJenifer Aniston} in what appears to be a "A WHITE MAN
AT THE BOTTOM' soul patrol movie. The backs are all tough{what a joke}the White bad man behaves as though he is black and dumps on Thomas}character the wife and other White women pick on Clive.........SO I CANNOT SEE WHY A CLASS WOMAN SUCH AS
Jennifer Aniston would do it,

Disagree totally. The movie worked BECAUSE it was a departure from her normal roles and made the twist more interesting.

Agree.

I really dislike it when a filmmaker does that: puts someone in a role who doesn't fit (for whatever reason & the reason is usually a bad one) and where we viewers are just supposed to blindly accept them as incredibly attractive or seductive or whatever, because that is how the character is supposed to be depicted despite the bad choice they cast, or because that is how the scene is written or how the music plays in the background when the other actor looks at him/her 'starry eyed' in the scene or tells them how incredibly attractive they are as part of the dialogue...

That sort of thing totally takes me out of a movie and treats viewers as both stupid and blind to the reality.

She was miscast.

I thought she was awful in this. Totally miscast. She's been better in other dramatic roles e.g Cake.
