Agree. Wedding crashing I like but the sappy love story I could do without. It's a safe American comedy, I'm surprised it doesn't get a 10. Usually the lame ones do. I'm looking forward to viewing Avatar because I'm sure it will be a pleasant disappointment also.

I personally thought The Hangover was a much funnier movie than this movie although there were some really good laughs in the first hour of this movie.

I don't find it incredibly funny but, I watched it again and have realized that I do like it. I think it's charming with some funny parts.

i think this was actually one of their last good movies. owen wilson has gone on a cold streak with kids movies and almost killin em self. and vince vaughn multiple christmas movies that, well i dont know. but wedding crashers was legit.
they will have more good movies though, the both of em

I vehemently disagree. Wedding Crashers is one of my favorite movies of all
time, if not my all-time favorite. It is probably tied with Rainman for my
all-time favorite. This movie was hilarious from beginning to end!

I preferred this movie to The Hangover as well. I mean, I laughed during both, but this one is one of my favorite comedies. I was cracking up in the theatre. Yeah, it gets slower when they go their separate ways, but I still overall enjoyed it immensely. Isla Fisher's crazy ass really helped too. I still crack up imagining her grown ass stomping in place having a hissy fit. I don't care what anybody says, that sh*t was classic.

I love the obligatory "overrated" threads that make reference to OTHER movies that were better but then give no indication as to what those movies may be.

Either mention those other movies or keep your mouth shut. Nobody cares if you think the movie is overrated. They'll care if you want to talk about movies, but without that information, your post is empty and pointless.

I'll start. I thought "Wedding Crashers" was funny but "Swingers" was better (connection: Guys hanging out with guys trying to meet women. Also: Vince Vaughn).

I thought "Wedding Crashers" was funny but "So I Married An Axe Murderer" was better (connection: Both feature main characters that question the institution of marriage. Also see: "Honeymoon in Vegas" to keep that festive marriage vibe).

There. That wasn't so hard.

Maybe you just don't have a sense of humor because its one of the funniest movies ever. Everybody in the theater couldn't stop laughing.

Just because you don't like the movie doesn't mean its overrated, moron.

Hah, there was so much hype around this movie before I saw it, that I'm sure it affected how much I actually enjoyed it, but that enjoyment was 0. I almost fell asleep during this movie.

Then again the same thing happened to me with The Hangover. So maybe I just sunconsciously dont want to like movies that are so statistically popular. who knows. all i know is i thot both this and the hangover were pretty lame and unfunny. (not to say there werent funny bits, but overall it wasnt worth my time)

Where the **** are my hard-boiled eggs?

The first half isn't brilliant, but it's pretty funny. The second half, it turns into another boring romantic comedy.

This movie is totally overrated. The 40 year old virgin came out like a month later and totally blew this out of the water. I didn't find this to really be that funny

I definitely agree that 40 Year Old Virgin was a much better movie and the characters were a lot funnier and more likable in that film than they were in Wedding Crashers, the first hour of WC was good but went downhill once the leads went separate ways
