Not that funny. Very overrated.
There are plently of other movies that are funny and still handle the other stuff better than this one.

I think it's hilarious, and I'm not really sure what you mean by "there are plenty of other movies that are funny and still handle the other stuff better than this one."

I mean...Yeah, I have no idea what you're trying to say. The "stuff" in this movie is the plot, which is unique, as far as I know, to this movie. It's funny. Up there with Anchorman in my book of the funniez!

I agree everyone is entitled to their opinion but I'd go so far as to say it's a classic RomCom.

Good guys may not finish last but they sure as sh*t don't finish first!

What are you talking about?!?! This is the BEST movie ever made!! Better than The 10 Commandments! Better than The Vikings!! Better than The Warlord!! Better than Independence Day!!!

I didn't think the movie lived up to the hype and I thought the scenes from where John & Jeremy go seperate ways to when we first meet Will Ferrell's character were disposable, those moments were so unwatchable that I've had to give the movie a 7/10 instead of a 10/10

I agree.

A simple montage would have sufficed.

Maybe the boys going to a strip club and John having no interest in the dancers. A lapdance with no interest.

That and the scene with the suicide book would have been fine.

i saw it after everyone bigged it up and was let down, the first half was kinda funny, but as soon as they went to the dudes house it turned into a unfunny rom com for me

laughs are cheap, I'm going for gasps

I *beep* love this movie. I laughed so much. So as long as I'm laughing, then it's damn good. One of my favorite comedies ever, and no, I'm not the type to laugh and any and everything. I guess certain types of humor just tickle my funny bone.

Come on, although mildly enjoyable, this is a sappy and cliched no-brainer. It was a remake of 'meet the parents' with (more) stereotypical, one-dimensional characters, a nice party crashing gimmick and cheap romance and laughs.

Those are the facts, i know i'm being an *beep* see more movies.

The word overrated gets thrown around so much these days. Isn't it possible to not like a movie without calling it overrated?
