I still like Joseph Gordon-Levitt (dude is gonna be big after Inception hits) and some of the scenes were funny, but I had no idea what they were saying and had to fast-forward through most of this to get some closure.
I've rewatched it over the years, but the first time I saw it I was 18. I'm 21 now, and I get it everytime. You need to watch the whole thing, every scene, from start to finish and by the end you should understand the dialogue.
It can sound like a different language, but in the end all the words make sense; you just need to decode it a bit. Subtitles help a lot.
