Bits you Didn't Like (All Series)

I love Peep Show - but there's always going to be something we wish wasn't there. For me it's the animal bits. I never find animal death's funny - but for some reason every comedy I know and love seems to find it appropriate to 'off' some animal in a vile way. I never watch the pheasant thing with Mark - but I get the gist. Hate that Peep Show did this. And though I find the Mummy incident less offensive (it was an accident...to begin with), I still wish comedies would avoid this area. I just find it a bit ...wrong.

So what bits of Peep Show do you dislike?

1) Mark and Jez getting the gym guy fired and ruining his career in Gym (4.3). Really dispicable thing to do.

2) The causal, light hearted attitude towards male rape. From Natalie raping Mark in Jeremy's Mummy (5.4) to Jez contemplating raping Mark in Shrooming (3.3) I just don't find it funny in the slightest. I cant imagine they would have been able to air Jez drugging and then contemplating raping a female, would they?

Conversely I really enjoyed Holiday (4.5) and all the dog stuff, I do think idiot Jez would have eaten the dog if it meant he was still in with a chance of getting his dìçk wet.

Personally I think Mark's "I kicked a dog to death" line is way worse than the Mummy incident

The dog episode is the only one I haven't watched.

I don't like the storylines with Elena, Dobby (series 8), Sophie's pregnancy
