Just finished watching this movie...I CRIED like a baby

WOW!! what an emotional ending...I cried like a baby when Jin-Tae died at the end and all the way to the credit. Some flaws in the movie, but nonetheless very moving for me. I think the only other movies that I cried in was The Lion King when I was like 13, Hotel Rwanda, Simon Birch, and Ladder 49. But this one really got me good, I don't know what it's like to lose a loved one, but I must say that it was pretty close to that for me..thanks!

I'm not so critical when I watch movies, I'm open-minded because movies are like a window to what people's lives actually were like. And that's how I always approach foreign films (any movie really)...and yes, I cried like a baby too. It had its flaws, sure, but you know, it's a good movie. The ending is what gets me...imagining that old man looking for his brother all these years, not knowing that he actually died the last time he saw him...pretty sad. Just brings tears to my eyes when he's talking to his grave. I like this film a lot...sometimes maybe a bit tad too emotional, but I guess it works.
