Movies that made us cry

A lot of us say this movie made us cry. Even some who don't come to tears easily. So on the subject, what movies have made you all cry, sob, or hold it back so hard it hurt? For me- Blow, Crash(the i'll protect you daddy part), The Patriot(where Gibsons daughter calls for him not to go, I'm a single dad to my daughter as you might can tell), It's A Wonderful Life, Oh, and the ring part in Schindlers List.

I love an actor whos performance can make me cry. I so apprieciate the art involved in an actors work. Please share.......

I'm a bit of a sap when it comes to films. The one that comes to mind now is Man on Fire, at the end where Pita and Creasy reunite on the bridge. Overlay Lisa Gerrard's unreal vocals, and I'm helpless keeping my eyes dry.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Schindler's List, that one makes me cry every time I watch it :(

Brotherhood of War - when Jin-seok fights his brother at the end and also the very end where old Jin-seok tries to talk to his dead brother's remains.
Oldboy - in the end when Mi-do hugs Oh Dae-su and says "I love you, Oh Dae-su" as she cries, and then a beautiful music track starts. I just love that scene so much! and also the scene where Woo-jin is in the elevator and we see the scene in which his sister dies.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - In the end when "Everybody's gotta learn sometime" plays, so sad :(.
Donnie Darko - When Gretchen dies and also in the end when Donnie dies and the song "Mad World" plays.
Mystic River - When Dave admits to Jimmy that he killed his daughter even though he didn't and Jimmy stabs him.
Requiem for a Dream - When Harry wakes up and sees that he's lost his arm, when the old ladies sits on a bench outside the hospital, crying after having seen Sara.
The Prestige - When Alfred Borden is in jail and he talks his brother telling him to live his life for both of them.
Pan's Labyrinth - In the end when Ofelia get's shot

I cant believe we havent had an ET, for those of us who were about 5yrs old when it came out. The directors cut of Cinema Paradiso is a bit of a choker. The Shawshank Redemption was an obvious one for me and recently scenes with Adam Sandler in Click and Reign Over Me were moving and poignant.
Theres also a little seen film called Rebound:The legend of Earl the Goat Mannigault with Don Cheadle which is sad and moving and tragic in parts. Hotel Rwanda was also a moving performance by Cheadle.

No other movie has got me as bad as this. And it's not just one, but three or four scenes. That doesn't count when you're thinking about it afterward either. I'm a grown man, and I was a sobbing mess after watching this! I'd be okay, then I'd think about the movie again and the tears came flooding back. Luckily I was alone at the time!
Anyone who's seen it will remember the bottled water scene, the subway serenade scene, the interrogation scene and the tree scene - those were the ones that really got me.
This is definitely one of my 'Top 10' films and, coincidentally, it's another Korean one. That said, it's hard to recommend; you're lucky if, like me, you get to see it with no prior knowledge of the plot, but it's also hard to watch in that manner. Either way, if you get the chance, any chance at all, watch it and remember you have to stick with it through to the end! The most beautiful, heart-wrenching film experience I think I will ever have.

Other than that there was some I saw when I was younger - Transformers: The Movie (1986) (I'm with you g217009t), Watership Down (1978), and My Girl (1991).

Funnily enough, the only other two things I can think of that welled me up as an adult were two kids cartoon series': Dragonball Z and Naruto! Dragonball Z: When Gotan was crying and screaming at Vegeta because he knocked-out his son, Trunks, so that he wouldn't try to stop Vegeta from sacrificing himself in a last-ditch effort to defeat Buu. Naruto: When, during a tournament, Neji Hyuuga starts using his family's deadly style on his innocent cousin Hinata. Here I think it has a lot to do with the amount of time invested by the viewer in getting to know the characters by that point, but they were still definitely some harrowing scenes.

...And I lie, there was another: Babel (2006). Right at the end, when the Japanese girl breaks down naked in her father's arms. Another brilliant and highly recommended film, by the way.

Don't worry, I'll shut-up now!

Kill Bill, when Uma Thurman finally enters Bill's house and sees her daughter. I'm amazed no one mentioned this one (except if I didn't see it).

This movie had me tearing up pretty good during a few parts. I'm probably one of the few people here that found V for Vendetta sad too
