Do you think this is the best western after Unforginen, as some critics said?

SO MUCH BETTER than the overrated Unforgiven. That movie was boring.

Chronologically, probably so.

Other choices would be True Grit, which wasn't as even to me, but had masterful parts, and Bridges was superb. I'd also consider Wyatt Earp, though some didn't care for it. Open Range was also pretty good.

The best western after Unforgiven doesn't leave too many choices. Westerns aren't made that often anymore.

But since Unforgiven I would rate True Grit and Tombstone over 3:10 to Yuma.
