Terrible film

Serenity was a love letter to Firefly fans to say goodbye.

It is still one of my all time favourite Sci-Fi movies.

Always remember the Jonathan Ross quote from a program called "Film (add the year) which he reviewed movies on.

"Why on earth couldn't the three most recent Star Wars films have been a third as good as this.?"

I love it so much i have the "no power in the verse can stop me" tattooed on my forearm.

Firefly is still the greatest TV show ever to be cancelled.

So OP, can you tell us what you would have done differently?

That's what I thought. It's easy to throw out cheap potshot criticisms at something, but not so easy to actually come up with something better yourself.

I like this movie precisely *because* it wasn't some huge generic blockbuster with A-list actors. I mean, this even debuted at an indie film festival. That's where cinema culture truly thrives; not at the big multiplex theaters.
