Is it legit tho' to compare this with DK and DKR when they're all part of the same series?
EEeeh, I guess so ... otherwise we'd have to consider "Star Wars" and "Rise of Skywalker" as equivalent
That said, though, I think nearly everything great about DK & DKR flowed naturally and necessarily from this movie. DK stands well on its own, but benefits a lot from the dynamic among Bruce, Alfred and Lucius as set up in BB

False. Batman Returns and The Dark Knight pretty much tie for the top spot.
