Just watched again and.......

I can respect how someone could put this above The Dark Knight.

For the longest time, the Dark Knight was my favorite of the three, by a long shot mainly because I love The Joker and I thought Ledger crushed it. That being said, I really do love Batman Begins version of Scarecrow and I'm a little saddened that we don't see more of him.

I do love Batman Begins version of Gotham more than TDK's version. In BB, it was a city, but like a real life adaptation of a comic book Gotham, where in TDK and TDKR it seems just like a normal city. So after everything is said and done, I would likely still rate TDK above Batman Begins, but the gap isn't as large as it use to be for me.

I think TDK and BB are very close together and then there's a big drop off to TDKR.

I just watched this movie again this weekend too. It is so fantastic.

Absolutely underrated. I have felt for a while that this was the best of the Trilogy and am rewatching the three films to determine that.

It really changed super hero movies. It created a realistic and intense origin story for an iconic character. We don't see Batman at all for over an hour. But it all works.

The scene with Batman on the rooftop after taking out Falcone and his gang gives me chills.

The Batmobile scene is a fantastic and gripping chase scene.

This is one of my all-time favorite movies.
And it's the best movie in the greatest Trilogy of all-time.

rubish, nolan's trilogy is crap, nothing is better than batman return, as for redefining the super hero, it was done by shyamalan in unbreakable

It's a good start but the sequel is much better. Though I loved Gotham more in this one, and loved the scare-crow

no it isn't

You are right. LEDGER crushed it, but everything else in TDK was subpar. It was an overlong movie with too many characters, monotone acting from everyone except Ledger, a dull Bruce-Rachel dynamic. I know that Katie Holmes is not the world's best actor, but Bale and Holmes had tremendous chemistry in this film while Maggie G was extremely bland as Rachel in TDK. Also, Bale gave a great performance in this movie, and not nearly as good in the sequels. Gotham was really New York and Chicago in the sequels.

BB is definitely the best out of the trilogy. BB and Iron Man 1 are the best comic book films so far.
