How DID this guy allow himself to be shackled to that shrew of a woman Judith?

He was a successful pediatrician. He was clearly compassionate and kind and really kinda cute. He seemed like an all around nice guy and a great catch (although a bit nerdy). How a witch like Judith snagged him, I 'll never understand.

When he told Alan about his late wife and how they never had children, I got the idea that he was just very lonely and wanted to remarry and have a family. Too bad he settled for Judith.

While many people change (and show their true colors) after getting married, Judith sent up flags well before marrying Herb. I don't know how he missed that.

So true. I think many people are masters of self delusion and don't see what's right in front of them. I sure was deluding myself when it came to my ex-husband. He threw down so many red flags when we were dating that if I'd been a bull, I would've been charging all the time!

Instead I was the classic ostrich. Head. Sand. You know the rest!
