Corrections about Europe

Some Major errors about Europe in the movie:

1. Why Manchester United Supporters in London? Why didn't they pick Chelsea, West Ham, Millwall...hooligans? Manchester is situated about 330km north of London.

2. Crans-sur-Mer doesn't exsist and the location shows the landscape of southern France (St-Tropez) while they actually are on the location of Calais or Boulogne-sur-Mer in Northern France.

3. While going from Bratislava to Berlin, the map on the dinertable shows a representation of the Black forest (Schwartzwald). The Black Forest actually is located in South-Western Germany (at the frontier with Alsace, France).

4. It's impossible to see as many trees next to the Louvre in Paris.

5. It's not possible to announce the death of the pope and having a new one on the same day. They're must be a conclave with all of the cardinals of the world under the age of 80 to elect a new one...so nobody would actually believe that Scott is the new pope.

6. The map on the table showd Rome to be on the east of Berlin....Rome is to the south of Berlin.

7. Scotty says they're's no drinking age in England...The drinking age is 18 in England (16 in my country, Belgium).

First of all, I love this movie. Yeah it looks like idiot Americans have made a film riddled with errors about Europe, but it's obviously been put together to take the piss out of themselves!

So the errors have got to be deliberate or as a result of what I assume is a low budget.

Also, I think they picked United
a)Because they are taking the piss, they would have picked Chelsea if they were being serious.
b)They are the most well known English side in the world and so Americans may know who they are.

While there are lots of United fans in London, there are almost certainly no United pubs and the United 'song' is awesome.

And whoever it was who said, 'there are no longer any hooligans' is an idiot, yeah it's not as bad as it used to be but it's still out there.

Hey it's a movie and a comedy at that, not to be taken as a factual guide. RELAX Go check the euro movies with errors about America. Then come back when you get a sense of humor.

An opinion, not actually a fact, but there are very little man united suporters in manchetser (they support city). Manchester united supporters are just about everywhere else. Although Millwall ould of perhaps been more appporiate now you say it.

Wow, I'm literally laughing out loud at this thread. Really? You made a thread to point out and correct the errors about Europe in the movie EUROTRIP?!?! Seriously, you should be at work or with a significant other or just be doing something constructive because you obviously have way too much time on your hands. It's Eurotrip bud, you expected everything to be completely accurate? Movie wasn't even that funny but this thread sure is, that and all the people who replied to it arguing facts, etc.

To summarize - WHO FREAKING CARES? Hahahaha.

funny

Yeah, I mean, it's like the people who hate movies like Apocalypto or Gladiator because they're not exactly accurate, historically speaking. Who gives a *beep*?
Can't everyone just relax and like (or hate) a movie for what it actually is?

George W Bush : We'll just eat Froot loop... Oh Froot Loop I'm just kidding. We'll eat Cheney.

The only part I didn't like was the little kid as Hitler, that wasn't funny, it was just in bad taste, and a bit embarrassing.
