Did anyone realize who the other wolf is?

I think I did.

Now, remember all the way back in the first one, Ginger infected two people, the Janitor and the other guy. The Janitor was killed, and the other guy was injected with the 'cure', which we all know really wasn't a cure, it just slowed down the disease.

Now think real hard, all that happened was the disease was slowed, but he would eventually turn into a werewolf. Thus, we have the wolf that attacks in Ginger Snaps: Unleashed.

If this has already been figured out, then i'm late, so sue me.

They actually answer that in the FAQ. The commentary denies that it was Jason, but yeah, that's what I'd thought, too.

Despite what the director has said I believe it was Jason as well.

I said this before: they could have put a whole other sequel between GS and Unleashed giving us the story of who that werewolf is and how it came to be following Brigitte.

In my fanfiction, once Brigitte realizes monkshood isn't a cure, she finds Jason. Not because she felt sorry for him. No, she hates lycanthropy and doesn't want him spreading it.

But the shots were too much for him. He quit after a few weeks.

If the werewolf isn't Jason, then there's an even worse possibility: that Brigitte created him in the same way Ginger created Jason. That would really be an unexpected twist in Brigitte's character.

It would explain why the creators of Unleashed are so adamant that it isn't Jason and so coy about it otherwise.

The only person left is Jason since the Janitor and Sam are dead, since it's unlikely others who might have been infected by Jason or Ginger would be following Bridgette.

The creators of the film have said it isn't Jason. If we take the at their word, there's another possibility.

Brigitte created that werewolf through having sex, just the way Ginger infected Jason.

However, I hate that possibility, and I don't accept it until it's confirmed by another sequel.

if the guys who made the movie say it isn't jason, it isn't jason.

My guess is there was more than one werewolf in their town. The one that bit Ginger wasn't the only one. In Ginger Snaps Back, there's more than one, which lead me to assume that they may run in packs, which was an extremely popular concept that was popping up around the time Ginger Snaps was made.

I remember reading books back in the early 2000s where all the werewolves would run in packs, much like vampires have their covens.

Blood is thicker than water and much tastier!

If it's not Jason, then there's another, more disturbing possibility, which would explain why it's tracking Brigitte: Brigitte created it. She infected some guy in the very same way Ginger infected Jason.

There's one hint Brigitte gives about it: she says the werewolf came from suburbia. How does she know? She's otherwise very tight-lipped about where it came from.

Everybody thinks Brigitte has the better self-control, but I tend to think had it been reversed and Brigitte didn't have access to monkshood, she would have acted much the same way Ginger did.

Lastly, I know this is controversial, but I reserve the right to disbelieve the creators when they say it isn't Jason. I write, so, I know writers like to keep their options as open as possible until it's actually written.

I've said here before that Unleashed makes me feel like I've missed an episode. They could put a whole other sequel between Ginger Snaps and Unleashed just explaining where that other werewolf came from.

Who else could it be? Why would they purposely make it not be Jason??

Jason is obviously still running around still infected and actually he'd be a full blown werewolf by now. So is he just running around wreaking havoc among the suburbs or something and this goes unaddressed while some anonymous werewolf for whatever reason stalks briggette? Doesn't make sense to me.

Yes, and it's a terrible way to tease when they're not intending to continue the series.

Exactly. That's why I just say, it IS the kid from the first. I don't care what the film makers say since they never explained. In my mind, it is the kid.
