Did anyone realize who the other wolf is?

I think I did.

Now, remember all the way back in the first one, Ginger infected two people, the Janitor and the other guy. The Janitor was killed, and the other guy was injected with the 'cure', which we all know really wasn't a cure, it just slowed down the disease.

Now think real hard, all that happened was the disease was slowed, but he would eventually turn into a werewolf. Thus, we have the wolf that attacks in Ginger Snaps: Unleashed.

If this has already been figured out, then i'm late, so sue me.

a lot of people think it is Jason...but there is a lot of people that think it's sam. I think it's Jason...because sam was obviously killed when Ginger bit his face and twisted it breaking his neck.

took me some thinking time to realize, but just the fact that the wolf was male, well... that was a give away

I know this may sound weird, but I actually got the impression it was an older werewolf...one that had a better idea of what it was doing and more control over what it was. Remember, the werewolf seemed pretty smart and good at hunting. Jason was a bit of a tool, a young punk. I'd think even if he was chasing Brigitte a more experienced werewolf would've kicked his ass and pursued Brigitte himself (cause there's probably less girl wolves running around).

reply

brigget says he came from suburbs.i dunno y she didnt mention jason.anyways it cant be sam,the poor thing died like a --bleep--

reply

On Ginger snaps Message board some person said than in the comantary the director says that its NOT Jason, But most people think it is, I didnt think of jason at all,
I thought that there'd have to be more than the werewolf that bit ginger, And who knows who Jason infected there could be lots of werewolfs in Bailey Downs

I wonder what would happen if an animal got infected but lived would it turn all 'were' imagine 'were-birds' lol

Oh and I love the idea of a fouth GS, I WANT MORE GINGER SNAPS!! but Emily would have to be in it, like flash backs of before the atack or something!

Idk thats just what i think

I doubt there would be were-birds, since were literaly translates to man..

hence were-wolf = man-wolf

reply

it could be human only disease. its not so rare.

I saw the series backwards so I didn't know who it possibly could have been in the second one. Although if it was someone from the first it was probably Jason, since he had that kind of interest in Bridgette after he got infected. It seemed like he might've raped her out in the feild by that little kid if she hadn't injected him. Stupidly I thought the cure worked for him even though i'd already seen the second one.

reply

I'm gonna say it was Jason
It couldn't be sam since Ginger killed him by biting into his neck

reply

I wouldn't rule Sam out totally though.

Remember how the Janitor "died"? Except then he started breathing again? It was because Ginger had infected him, so he didn't really die. So it could be Sam.

Besides, Jason was just a little horny tool.

reply

Do any of you guys read the older post?

they stated in a commentary, its NOT jason

meaning there is no connection

meaning there is just another werewolf runnin around.

it happens

(shrugs shoulders)

Boom bazooka, joe.

reply

Also,
When Ginger first arrives at the Greenhouse party in the first one
She kisses that random guy, dressed as a cow i think lmaoo.
It could be him.
Just a thought lol.

reply

I don't think it was the guy from the party. There was no blood transfer, meaning the likelihood of him being infected was pretty low.

And I doubt it was Jason. He doesn't seem like the kinda of guy to stick to one female. If he realized that he wasn't going to get any, then he was probably going to give up. I have a feeling this behavior might have carried on.

And like someone said earlier. This wolf seemed to have more experience. He knew what he was doing when it came to the hunt and tracking down a potential mate.

reply

eh even though they say its not jason, in my mind it is haha. i mean brigitte did say he came from the suburbs. what do they expect us to think? and why couldn't it be him? why does it matter to them if we assume it was him? its not like they told us what happened to him anyway.

I pondered much on this and have come to the conclusion its one of the many undeveloped/ underdeveloped aspects of this movie.

We turned it up and the we watched the city burn

it annoys me because they obviously make a pont it say it wasnt him. but why?? whats the point of her saying hes from the suburbs but then them saing its not jason??

reply

To jerk people around? for fun?

It was obviously Jason, no matter what they say.

reply

The commentary was meant to fuel discussions like this. It was obviously Jason, use your brains. She mentioned he was from the suburbs which tells us that she knew who the werewolf was. How many werewolves do you think she knows? Just one...Jason.

reply

I figured it out later who it was. Ginger killed the janitor and Sam,so it was obvious.

reply

Yay! I'm not the only one who got it! The moment Ginger mentioned that it wasn't a cure but a way to slow it down, I thought back to Jason and wondered what happened to him. They the other werewolf came into the picture and I got it.

Regardless of the commentary or not, I think movies that leave little to NO canon information about something give the audience the right to interpret it for themselves.

Whether someone tells me or not that it's NOT Jason, I can't BELIEVE that until I hear the characters say it themselves. It's not set in stone until it's technically a part of the storyline for me...so I have to draw my own conclusions for it.

It makes alot of sense for it to be Jason, and it certainly would make it easier for Jason to follow her from Bailey Downs, and for it to be so set on Brigitte in particular.
