Scarlet's mouth made this movie unwatchable for me

I read the book first. Big mistake...the book went into so much more motive than the movie could muster. But watching the gorgeous Colin Firth made it all worth while. But what really drove me crazy? Scarlet's mouth! She rarely closed it for the entire film. Every scene was a worship to mouth breathing. I was getting so annoyed by the end, I couldn't watch scenes with her in it!
Great performances by Colin Firth and especially Essie Davis...very underated - she's awesome! Having read the book, I thought she captured the character perfectly. I just thought they made Griet too unintelligent in the movie and the book probably made her too clever - some middle ground would have been great and made the movie that little bit better for me!
