This movie SUCKS

This ranks among the top 5 of worst movies ever. Even the title makes as much sense as a pile of *beep* The acting is bad, the plot is bad (as a matter of fact, there is no plot), stupid details which are pointless and not at all adding to the story!

DON'T WATCH IT!

The movie isn't terrible, but it is pretty boring. I had high hopes, but I was pretty disappointed. The movie had a slow, boring story and almost no action or violence. Either Clive Owen should have been a complete badass and dispensed justice all over London or it should have been a true crime-drama with some twists and turns to keep the viewer thinking, but neither was the case. Will performs an "investigation" for practically the whole movie just to find out the few simple facts that the viewer was actually let in on (which weren't many). Not recommended.

There was no meaning in this film. Posibly the worst ending I've evere seen. The movie builds up slowly and then just fizzles out. DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!

Ill admit it wasnt a brilliant film,
and everyone involved had such high hopes from me
but it wasnt so so so bad,
it wasnt as good as it was "fun".

Maybe it's just me, but I wasn't sure if the Irish Hitman who was waiting for Clive Owen had already killed Rambling. Could someone enlighten me. It seems as if she had blood stains on her neck and upper chest.

reply

she sure is breathing in the shot

This was dumb because it was just like you didnt care for the characters. Is it me, or is Malcolm McDowell just some random guy that decides to rape Rhys-Meyers for no reason? And then he just kills himself, which is pretty *beep* dumb, because life goes on. And then the rest is boring. I didnt care if Clive Owen got vengeance, I didnt care that Rhys-Meyers got raped and killed, only grossed out, I didn't care if McDowell lived or died. It was just like shrug your shoulders, there goes 2 hours of your life.

I have to agree with you on just about everything. The only thing I don't agree with you on is that it was a waste of 103 minutes.

In the beginning it seems interesting, but after Davey dies everything goes down the drain. Seem like they didn't know how to finished it.
The ending was confusing.
Such a waste of film for such a good actors. Pitty.

well, at least I'll Sleep When I'm Dead was not preceded by any of those other bombs on your list. It wasn't a terribly exciting movie, but it does make you think quite a bit - though some may have been thinking 'What am I doing?'

excuse me but... " The acting is bad " ?

The film presents a great cast and every single character especially clive's is very dark and emotional. I believe that the film was great. It was different, straightforward and left many things to the viewer's imagination.

I don't know what happened to his girfliend or clive's character but i dont really mind anyway. Its just a story, well directed and produced by all.

My opinion....
do watch it and then judge for yourselves

The actors are awesome, but the movie is not.

The film wasn't incredible by any means, but I saw it as a good concept that simply fell short in terms of execution. It's not a film about revenge, or violence, or anything American audiences typically spend their money on; it's about whether or not the central character is going to do the thing he wants to. That said, it's been done before, and better: think Hamlet. I saw it as an experiment that yielded results unexpected by its conductors. Ah well. Clive Owen is good as usual.

I just saw this movie, it was neither incredible or sucky. It was an ok movie. I really enjoyed the movie up until the ending, when we find out why Malcolm did what he did. The pacing was fine with me and even though he didn't really do anything bad ass, I thought that Clive's character was very bad ass, he had that controlled craziness to him that made him bad ass. I didn't mind the pacing and as I have gotten older I have learned to be more patient with movies. But that ending...ehhhhh. The whole time you're thinking he's a gangster and that there is some twist reason why he raped him, but it really falls flat on its face. Second worst ending I've seen, behind Gallipoli. I would recommend it, but would ask the person to not watch the last five minutes.

"Don't *beep* with the Jedi Master son!"

noir is about cool and sleek for me. the imagery and the emotion without words is what makes this a great movie. i say watch it. it isn't the greatest film of all time but to say its the worst is absurd. dumberto must have only seen five films. the title is brilliant and works perfectly with the theme of the movie. when will puts the gun to boad and threatens not to kill him now but one day when he doesn't expect it is *beep* classic. if you don't like movies that force a little use of the brain, avoid this selection.
