i haven't seen the film but why in hell did Boad raped Davey. what did Davey did so bad did he deserved to get raped. As for Boad does he want to have a reputation for Gay. that doesn't look good for a gangster. People won't take him seriously and people will go after him.
but the main thing was i want to know how, when and why he was raped?

It is an interesting subject. And shows the director's independence and nerve that he tackles it as he does. I don't think the film is perfect but it is very interesting. I think the crime is made all the more violent and cruel becasue the McDowell character didn't have a reason that would justify what he did (not that anything could really). He hated the kid cause he was young, popular and handsome and he wanted to make him feel like dirt. Absolutely sad and disturbing -- good job by the director and actors (though Clive could have done with a tad more personality).
