I was wondering if there was a list of actors who played characters who are raped? The ones I remember other than Jonathan Rhys Meyers in this film are:
1:Ned Beatty in "Deliverance"
2:Ving Rhames in "Pulp Fiction"
3: Richard Crenna in a T.V. movie where he played a cop (I can't remember the title)
It seems to me that Ned Beatty's rape is the most famous as I still hear it "joked" about with the "Squeal Piggy" line in "Deliverance".

Although we don't actually see Andy raped (only beaten), Red's narration implied that the Sisters did rape him regularly, until he stood up to their leader. I think, it's been a while since I've seen Shawshank Redemption.

It's been refuted quite often that Andy beats them up, and that to try and 'break' him, they kick the crap out of him. That's how they work-they want to essentially kill any sense of spirit within him.
But he doesn't break. So he is not raped. He gets beaten the crap out of, put in hospital a lot, but not raped.
It's often discussed, and people believe he has been molested or abused, but it's often refuted. That kind of periodic rape, if such were to happen, would have a definite trauma upon someone. Andy doesn't show any signs of that.

Watching the rape scene in this movie, I just couldn't help saying "I, Caligula Caesar, command in the name of the senate and the people of Rome".
