My interpretation of the ending

When Bernie was rolling dice and looks at Shellie the first time, he starts rolling craps 2,3,12s. For the last roll, instead of doing what he had been doing, he bets the field. Pays for 3, double for 2 or 12. He stares at Shellie when he does it and obviously wins. I think maybe Bernie figured out he wasn't the bad luck, it was the people he made himself closest to which made his luck. When Shellie was his closest friend he always had bad luck cause Shellie was a bad person and not really his friend. When the girl came into his life and loved him, his luck was good. The way I interpreted anyways

I thought the same thing. Love entered his life.

Outstanding interpretation! I never looked at it like that but it makes complete sense. I mean once he met Maria Bello his outlook was a 180.

I've always wondered what happens to them after the credits come on. Do u think they ended up moving to the Midwest and buying a home, settling down? I thought that was what Bernie said they should do.

If I met Maria Bello and she fell in love with me, pretty sure my life would make a 180, lol.
Haven't seen the movie, and Macy is probably more handsome than I am, but it sounds awful nice.
Like Virginia Madsen falling for Paul Giamatti in Sideways.

Well you should definitely check it out! It's a fun movie, and if you find Maria Bello hot, which btw most of us do, you would especially like seeing her booty in this film.

I must say I enjoyed seeing her wonderful booty as well.
