Awful Movie!

I remember watching this film 11 years ago at the cinema here in England. From the start of this film was just horrific!!! It was all over the place, no plot, terrible acting and disturbing scenes throughout. I watched it for half an hour and then I left. I wasn't alone though. A lot of people left before me and mumbled how rubbish it was. I totally agreed with them. Several people left when I did! Its horrid and I haven't watched it since and not even going to waste my time with it!

I have to disagree, I loved it quite a bit. It's dark, depressing, pretty realistic, and also at times hilarious. I loved Avery's direction and found not only to be unique but pretty easy to follow. It certainly is not a film for everyone but has become a cult classic among people like myself.

I've always wanted to see The Rules Of Attraction since 2002. And I just recently now in 2015, not only bought the film off of Amazon but I also finally saw it this past weekend. And was not at all disappointed with it.

And really loved it.

And I really love that according to Wikipedia the film is now starting to become a Cult Classic & hopefully overtime the movie will continue to grow more & more with people.

With that being said I can definitely see how this is not a film for everybody given some of the graphic nature of it.

But I still think it's great & I'm glad to see other people do as well.

I personally enjoyed the film. I saw it in theaters when it came out and found it entertaining and I still do all these years later. It's a dark comedy really, with elements of real drama of course. But there are numerous hilarious scenes throughout that make me laugh. Perhaps I have a dark sense ofy humor, but I find it very amusing.

I agree..it was one of them early 2000 movies made while high on ectasy (high on style..but a just mess).
One of my most disliked movies from that era.

If you really want to hate your species, it's a great film. I saw it on DVD and it depressed the F out of me. I would never watch it again.

Difficult to digest real life? College is a disgusting place and this movie accurately shows the viewer the dark underbelly of higher education.
