Why does she need to fall so many times?

I get that they're trying to push the idea that she is an unconventional, wacky girl, and they're trying to make her come across as adorable by falling, but COME ON. She must have fallen 6 times in this movie, and I've seen this exact same thing with other movies. Typically with Amanda Bynes, Hilary Duff, any other teen chick flick actresses I might be forgetting. Is it really necessary to have it happen so many times? I think once would have gotten the point across. Did anyone else find this irritating?

It is probably to remind us how much like her mother she is!
That is how Libby and Henry met!
Having her falling onto Prince Charles' lap, was also to make another major faux pas happen in front of the press. Fleet Street loved her!
