Series 10 wtf

I loved seasons 1-5 and recently rewatched them. The writing, dialogue, storylines and acting is still impressive.

I went off the series after that so never watched the last 2 or 3 seasons, so I've now skipped to series 10.

Not really enjoying series 10 at all. There's a non-stop highly intrusive soundtrack where every tiny emotion we're suppose to feel is set to dinky music. It's sooooo ANNOYING and distracting. The storylines are weak and repetitive, and the sassy dialogue has pretty much vanished.

But the music, dear God, MAKE IT STOP.

I haven't watched it yet....I watched season 1-8 and loved the first 7 seasons, then season 8 was boring...season 9 took me a year to watch the entire thing. I'm not sure if I will ever watch season 10. I love the feel of the early seasons. The later seasons have a weird contrast, it's like the atmosphere is darker, but it's also really goofy whereas the early seasons had a light tone which complimented those cheesy moments.

Actually S10 wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so absurdly over-scored. Like an orchestra on speed at an old silent movie theatre.

It's unwatchable.

SV was like a five year plan that lasted ten seasons.

I have no complaints about any of the series outside of Rosenbaums absence being severely missed, but I still got through the later parts because I enjoyed Tess Mercer's story, not to mention the stuff with Zod and the others from Krypton.

Season 9 was awful. Season 10 was better, but far from great.
