Religion.
I felt that all of the religious crap heaped on me by, presumably, Mel Gibson made the movie much less enjoyable to watch.

shareYup, the religious propaganda in the movie was disgusting. Keep your lunatic to yourself next time. It didn't add anything to the movie so it was completely unnecessary. It's the same as adding atheist *beep* to the movie when it's not needed at all.
shareEvery movie and tv movie that comes out of Hollywood adds atheist or rather liberal humanist social justice arrior *beep* to their output. I agree. It's not needed at all, but it's all we get. Except for a rare movie like "We Were Soldiers" and then those liberal crybabies have to whine about the religious aspect. So much for tolerance.
shareWhat a bunch of fucking snowflakes. "Boo hoo I had to listen to somebody talk about God for 5 combined minutes in a movie".
shareHal Moore actually had a book out about his religious experience in the movie. Don't heap that on Mel Gibson, that was totally in line with the man he was portraying & in that respect I thought Gibson was the perfect man to cast.
"Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop."

I didn’t think the religious angle added anything to the story but if that is true to who Hal Moore really is then I don’t have a problem with it. The man went through hell and I have nothing but respect for what he did.
