Dogville.

One word, sumizing the film and all that it is. Now let me first comment on all the people who have used ambiguous words that might describe 33453457 other films... not only need you know the film from the word but you should also know the word from the film. I especially reject all the wonderful/masterpiece/whatever words because they describe the film not depict the film. They are not one word when you next have to refer to what you were talking about...

One Word in any context does not have to be good or bad it relates to a game of surades and what is the first word you would prose as a clue for the audience to guess what movie you were describing... good, stupendous, masterpiece or on the other hand bad, crap, surreptitious, whatever are all bad examples... imagine you're trying to identify the movie then see if your words make any sense.

If I wanted to identify this movie uniquely the word would be:

setless.

If I wanted to describe this move uniquely the word would be:

un-set-ling
