I really didn't think Lilo was weird for a little kid at all. Quirky perhaps but mostly she just had a big imagination.

I don't think she was meant to be wierd wierd, just that she didn't have anything in common with the girls her age in the area she lived in. I'm sure there's many other people who'd love a melodramatic photo taking Elvis fan, she just ended up being an outsider where she was.

One thing that I hate is, the little "ring leader" girl, that got hit in the face (lol)
has a Big Wheel and the other two girls have actual bikes w/ training wheels
so, to me its like they are regressing to not be friends with Lilo.

Yeah, she wasn't weird. She just didn't have anything in common with the other girls she went to school with. I grew up with plenty of people like Lilo, lol. They didn't do what was in the norm, but they weren't weird.
Some secrets need to be kept,

I thought the same! I really liked her because she reminded me a lot of myself when I was a kid. I was definitely quirky hehe
