Im sorry i really have to say this.
Im currently watching Series 3 and i think that Ned is the most off putting character i have ever seen, every time he is on screen i just want to hit him and hurt him.
I dont see how Alice ends up falling for him (mnot got to that part of the series yet) but does he have a personalltiy change or something?

Ellie was a stroppy madam with an annoying voice and didn't deserve Jack...he could do much better.

Or she ran away and had kids with Porky.
There were no characters I hate, some I dislike (Bray, Gel, Jay S5, Amber) but I didn't hate them. Without them the show would only have been half as good as it was.
Now that I've been re-watching the entire show I find my feelings for some characters have changed and not for the better XD.
I never really liked Salene. And right now, I beyond hate her. She has something seriously wrong with her, and if there were mental institutions in the Tribe world...she'd be sent to one. D:
I can't stand Trudy right now and wish someone would just off her...preferably Ebony.
Danni. I've never ever liked her. But now I REALLY hate her. She's a lousy character overall and very stupid.
Bray is a complete idiot and Patsy is a moron. I can't wait for Amber to come back...and I've never had very good feelings about her. But ANYTHING to get rid of Danni.

Ned, Tally and Andy annoyed me. I tend to fast forward through the scenes they are in.
Gel. I think they were trying to make her a new version of Zandra. They failed. Zandra was an airhead, but she could be funny and she was treated as a 3 dimensional character. Gel was a one dimensional waste of time. Jack should have left her in that village.

Oh k I can't belive I have read through this entire post and no one eles ha metioed Patch, and here's my reason why -
Patch was a very very poor subsitute for Jack, and all they did with him and Dee was re do what they had all ready did with Jack and Ellie.
I also dilike Ellie she was a moaner and anyone who falls for a member of the Chosen is off there head and she messes Jack about alot.
I never liked Lottie found her to character to be lacking any real substance I think if they had writen her in sooner in the fith season or even before that I might have warmed to her, but they made it to obviouse that she was a direct replacement for KC.
Andy and Tally I never really saw the point of these two characters I think that they were just wiriten in as a way to get Pride in to the mall and I think that the writers were looking to replace Cloe and Patsey with these to but it clearly didn't work.
And finaly Ned what a plonker never really liked his character never understood why Alice who I loved got together with him in the first place.
Ned, Andy & Tally were just very poor fill-ins for Ryan, Cloe & Patsy.
shareMost characters have dodgey moments where I hate them, like Taisan in S1 and Cloe in S4. But I tend to like the majority of them, despite the hiccups.
The exceptions are Ned, Jay and Gel.
Ned. Why was this man allowed?? He is simply revolting (garbage eating, anyone?) and Alice deserved far better. I felt annoyed that she would even consider him. His storylines weren't much better than him. What was up with the kidnapping? Thank god he's gone!
I know a lot of people love Jay but I don't just don't see. He was a poor Bray replacement, and seemed to do nothing but rant about a "better world" etc, and string along Ebony and Trudy until he got to Amber.
I don't think I need to day anything about Gel to be honest. The hatred speaks for itself.

I've disliked alot of characters...they've all made me wanna punch the screen at some point...but Jay & Bray I've hated forever! Grrrrrrrrrrr...they're just so smarmy and arrogant, they both love themselves.

Ned was plebtacular...I love when alice floors him...Alice is my all time fave character! and drusilla from buffy but thats another time another thread ;)

I only got to see most of season three, on WAM. Probably the Guardian was character I hated the most, creapingly evil. I didn't like how Selene seemed to push Ryan away when she was a part of the chosen. Trudy, I didn't like at first because she betrayed her brother and her friends, but at least she owned up to it after she was rescued from the chosen. Almost forgot about Epony, she could be just plain mean.
