Surely 'God's Hand' would be a much better title?

shareNo, that's not a good title for this movie because it's pretty much giving away the ending.

I haven't watched the movie in a long time, but I remember being shocked that it was "real" in the sense that he really WAS getting orders from god to kill demons. It's not obvious through the movie - you just think he's a nutcase. That's why it would spoil the ending. Or not necessarily spoil it, but it would make the ending not shocking.

how does the title "gods hand" magically make people know that in the end of the movie the guy really is killing demons and turns out to be the other brother?
the title could refer to the familys beliefs and not the actuall events,
in that case the movie "saw" is spoiling the ending cause obviously when you read the word "saw" you automatically know that the killer is infact the dead guy laying on the floor all the time
or are you guys a bunch of vodoo people who can reveal an entire movies plot based on a title? if so then wouldnt frailty made you know the ending aswell?
personally i dont give much crap about the title, im fine with the title they choosed, but this argument is riddiculus

I'm not too into the title either, but I don't see why so many people think calling it God's Hand somehow gives away anything. The dad says he is visited by an angel and gets orders from god to destroy demons very early in the movie. Sure, we don't know if he's out of his mind or not, but calling the movie God's Hand doesn't mean he can't still be out of his mind. It could just be the name of the movie cuz it's about the one or two people responsible for the "God's Hand" killings. Just like how Zodiac is about the guy and not about stars in the sky and their alignment.
I think they just don't call it that because it would turn off a lot of people to going to see the movie and in those other countries, they're probably more religious and aren't turned off by a movie with the word "god" in the title. Hell, it probably gets more people to go see it than if it didn't have "god" in the title.
The movie should have been titled "God's Hand." Mistitling it "Frailty" created confusion and added nothing to the movie's excellent premise.
shareThe title 'Frailty' likely comes from both the frailty of human minds (the father being weak, the brothers being doubtful) and also it refers loosely to the expression 'Frailty, thy name is..."
I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?
Penfold, shush.
