Season 10, Episode 9 Beep Panic - One Of The Worst...

Just been rewatching season 10, which for the most part is a lot of fun with the Mocha Joe rivalry.

However, this episode has got to be one of the worst in the entire series. Incredibly grating.

First of all Mocha Joe stealing Larry's screeners. Then it's got the disgusting diarrhea plot - firstly the diarrhea / liquorice stuff in itself and also the women, who Larry gives a car / job to burning him off by keeping / selling the car / not turning up to the job he gave her. Even Richard Lewis playing the retarded guy just seems lame and the sort of humour you'd expect from something lamer.

The show often works with Larry's essentricities coming back to bite him, so we can enjoy laugh at his downfalls. But here, he just gets shafted for no reason so it just comes off badly and isn't particularly funny.

I felt a drop in quality in S10, and a big on in S11.
Using that fat Latina girlas a punching bag the whole season was really mean spirited.
It just wasn't that funny.
Also, Cheryl has gotten kind of weird looking. She has huge boobs now, and a really plastic face.
Also weird was the whole detour off into the urinals and no toilets in the men's room.
Also, was not really impressed with Vince Vaughn's comedy moves.
I don't know why, but when I saw it the first time I was underwhelmed, but then watching it again
I like of liked it. Maybe I was over being offended.

Yes, agreed on a lot of that.

Cheryl's facial surgery has definitely gone too far and she looks even weirder now.

I was also not too impressed with Vince Vaughn initially but on rewatching I didn't find him to be too bad.

Season 11 was definitely a lot worse. I think they kind of lost it with the arc. I thought Maria Sofia's bad acting acting was hilarious and I really liked her dad (who was brilliant as the hotel receptionist in season 10) but they seemed to fizzle out with the storyline and they barely featured at all in the second half of the season.
