was it just me or did Johnny seem very bored the whole movie?

He looked to be very uninterested in everything that was going on. I thought it was a bit strange seeing as i know he is a good actor. maybe i'm misinterperating his looks. maybe some parts are supposed to be lustful but somehow just look bored. but that doesn't explain all the other parts away.

All I want is someone who'll warm me when I'm cold, feed me when I'm hungry & maybe take me dancing

I'll have to agree with the Captain.
That was Johnny Depp not being a crazed pirate.

Yes, he did seem bored. Johnny was miscast in this movie.

I felt this way about him in The Tourist where he had no chemistry with Jolie whatsoever.

I don't think he was bored. Johnny takes every role seriously. I think his character is supposed to be kind of sad and somber. But I dont see bored. This whole film and everyone in it has such a sad/romantic vibe to it. Dont misinterpret bored for good acting.

If he was not attractive - most people would say he seemed miscast (or just uninterested)
