Season 6 episode 13 Friday Night's Alright for Fighting has to make the list.
The way they go from yelling to acting completely polite and laughing several times is just genius and well written!

I like that one also I also like the part in the Deer Hunters where Rory yells at Paris and Tristan.
shareThat's actually the first episode I ever saw of the show. It's what got me into the show. Funny that it came from season 6.
Love that one! I also love where the town has a meeting about Jess and Lotelai yells "I heard he controls the weather and wrote the screenplay to Glitter!"
shareThe scene the OP was talking about is genius. Gilmore sr.'s house scenes are the best. This show would be much more of a dud without Emily and Richard. Sometimes writers were trying too hard to make audience "live it as if they were Stars Hollow townies".

I loved Jess' face when he found that someone devil egged his car... And the scene where Luke pushed him in to the lake.
I also cry with laughter when I watch kirks movie.... His dancing is hilarious.
I've always liked the scene after Rory moves into the pool house and Emily goes to Lorelai's house to get her things... only to be met by a sulky Michel who resents being ordered around like a dog and tells her she'll have to address him in woofs.

Lane's walk with some Korean guy followed by 20 of his family members in s1.
TJ being in escrow.
Some girl in Yale: Is it raining?
Paris: No, it's national Baptism day. Tie your tubes, idiot.

Still shopoholic, just wearing a new T-shirt
The town troubadour singing and officiating Liz and TJ's wedding.
Paris during her speed dating experience, then bluntly telling Rory and Anna that she and Doyle had sex after being caught in their bathrobes.
Gran's outrage at Rory wanting to go to Harvard instead of Yale and Lorelai's response, something like:
Gran [to Richard]: You're a Yale man! Your father was a Yale man!
Lorelai: Well, we want Rory to be whatever kind of man she wants to be.
I love the scene between Lorelai and Emily when they are talking about a friend of Lorelai who killed her husband. Lorelai talking about how the friend came home to find her husband giving the maid I think it was a nice bonus and she shot her husband with so many holes he looked a sprinkler system or something to that effect and Emily says, "Well at least she had a husband to kill,". Her delivery in that line and the look on Lorelai's face just cracks me up every time.
When Lorelai and Emily are both applying cold cream to their face and Rory says, "Behold my future," and Lorelai looks at her mother and drops the cold cream.
Another one is when Luke asks Lorelai to marry him him and she asks what in a really confused voice and Luke says, "Just looking for something to shut you up."
Those scenes crack me up. I also love the scene where Lane is running around outside because her head is burning and Lorelai sees it but looks really confused.
