Not sure if this was discussed before, but why on earth would "Brian" show his face purposely to Danny? It was completely unnecessary. No one could've implicated him to the heist otherwise. I watch this movie everytime it's on tv, great cast, great plot, but I cringe everytime that scene comes on.
shareWell, even if he did not reveal him self to Danny, when he don't show up for work the next day that would make him a potential suspect. especially when they start investigation and his indignity turn up to be false.
share^^^ yes i was going to say that myself, funny how no one had mentioned that earlier, only he could still fool everyone though if he had not revealed himself.. he could possibly play out the "brian" persona for a while and then just quit one day once the heat had gone down over the robbery. i wouldn't imagine that would raise much suspicion for himself.
however, a real pro might do this. but as we see he is a hot head an impatient so probably would have not bothered with that route anyway. he was bound to end up being caught some how eventually, even if it had not been on this job.
