Rank All 9 Halloween Films Here!

Happy Halloween! Check out this order of Halloween films, I pretty much agree with the entire list except for maybe swapping spots 3 and 4. What do you all think?

BEWARE: SPOILERS BELOW!

Arranged from God-Awful to Totally Awesome:

Halloween Resurrection - The means of resurrection couldn't be more asinine, Jamie gets offed in the very first scene, and a trash-talking Busta Rhymes brings down Michael with a bunch of judo kicks? Definitely the series ender I was hoping for. At least that bitch Tyra Banks got killed.

Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers - Apparently Michael is merely a henchman for a group of Occultists, and worse, he can be stopped dead in his tracks by simply placing a line of runes on the floor in front of him. How the hell did Paul Rudd's career ever manage to take off after this?

Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers - Better than its reputation, but not great. Too bad that man in black didn't turn out to be Johnny Cash.

Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers - Pretty damn good. The mask looks a tad weird all clean with brushed hair, but maybe Michael felt compelled to have it dry-cleaned after waking from his coma. The big plot hole: Dr. Loomis shot out both of Michael's eyes at the end of Part II, so how can he see?

Halloween H20 - Ah, Halloween Water. It certainly has its problems, but mostly this is a worthy final chapter with a knockout finish. Like most fans, I consider this the last Halloween. That was Michael in the ambulance and Jamie did win the epic battle. Good triumphs over evil, fade to black.

Halloween II - Halloween II quickly recaptures the original's sense of dread and uses smart techniques to make it feel like the same night. Despite a larger body count, it never goes camp. Michael is terrifying as he stalks the hospital grounds for Jamie. Many scenes, as well as the ending, are unforgettable.

Halloween - Shocking choice, right? There's just no comparison to the original masterpiece. The simplistic realism of the characters and setting, the gradual escalation of fear and suspense, the inhenrent evil that is Michael Myers. This is the quintessential Halloween film and it still holds up beautifully after 36 years.

You'll notice I didn't bother to count Halloween III or the two Rob Zombie incarnations. Why? Because they don't belong on this list. Whether intended by the OP or not, this list is about Samhain and Michael Myers. Unrelated stories and painfully bad reimaginings have no place here.

haha idiots who put H3 last because 'no Michael Myers' it's still a good Halloween season movie, it's not terrible atall. it's because of Myers...

1. Halloween
Perfect classic, good for Halloween season
2. Halloween 2
Same as above, much darker
3. Halloween 3
Same as above, who cares if Myers isn't in it?
4. Halloween 4
Overrated, first 2 felt more real, this one more cinematic, lost the darkness of the second and the realism of the first 2 and best things about it is Loomis
5. Halloween H20
Good idea, little too teeny for my taste, but it's the film Jamie deserved to have, the ending is one of the best horror movie endings ever
6. Halloween 666
Very confusing and messy, but Michael is very creepy in this one, I don't like the fact they try to explain away his actions with an evil curse though
7. Halloween 5
Terrible mess
8. Halloween Resurrection
Waaay too MTV teeny, good idea for a film though the Myer's house is too small for a camera show like this.. it replaced H20's cool ending to make it not so cool anymore.. and hiphop artists that we don't care about.. the lead actress was bad, all of them were.
9. Zombieween
Brutal horror film about a kid from an effed up family that turns to violence because of his upbringing, sure for that it's a decent 2007 horror flick, but it shouldn't have been called Halloween
10. H2
Unacceptable, there is nothing to say on this trash

10) Halloween 2 Rob Zombie Remake: The only one I didn't watch because of how bad his first one was. I read that Laurie and Michael had some sort of telepathic connection in this one so I'm glad I passed.

9) Halloween Rob Zombie Remake: I liked this movie better the first time when it was called House of a Thousand Corpses

8) Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers: Just a bad film. But this is the last of the bad films in the series.

7) Halloween: Resurrection: Strayed too much from the Halloween movie formula, but I did like the opening scene.

6) Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers: A lot like part 4, but the ending killed it for me.

5) Halloween H20: 20 Years Later: Good film but why is it so damn short?

4) Halloween III: Season of the Witch: As long as you can look past the title and come to grips that Halloween was supposed to become a franchise that told different stories, this is a good movie. Very creepy and a really good story.

3) Halloween II: A lot like the original, just not as good.

2) Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers: Really good movie considering they had to go away from the Laurie angle and tell a new story.

1) Halloween: Pure classic. One of the best horror movies ever. The way suspense is built in this movie is perfect. Makes me all the more mad what Zombie did to it. He took the best aspect of Halloween and replaced it with House of a Thousand Corpses.
