What 'A Christmas Carol' adaption do you like the best?
I like this one, and the muppets one purely because of Michael Cane :)

The 1951 version with Allistair Sim is far and away the best. Sim absolutely defined Scrooge.
This one, with Stewart is dead in comparison. There is no emotion. What a shame because Stewart is an excellent actor.
There are only two in the running - this one and 1951 Alistair Sim version. All others are a pale imitation.
'Well I've got two words for you - STFU'
1. 1951- Alastair Sim version- I had not seen this until a few years ago. I lament the years I wasted. Best Scrooge performance of them all
2. Muppets- I grew up with this one so nostalgia plays a factor
3. 1984- George C Scott version- In my opinion, has the best supporting acting of any version. Also has my favorite incarnation of Yet To Come. This version was my #1 until I saw 1951.
"Simpsons did it! Simpsons did it!"
In no particular order...
-The Bill Murray version.
-George C Scotts.
-Albert Finney (and I do NOT like musicals.)
-The Muppets
-Patrick Stewarts!
This one is THE best all-time, period.
