By the end of the movie I was totally in love with Amelie. It was the same with Sam' in Garden State and Claire in Six Feet Under.

Well, my biggest character crush in general is not from a film, but a TV series: Special Agent Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks. There's also David Addison Jr. from Moonlighting, but that's a different matter entirely.
As for film character crushes: Michael from The Deer Hunter, Gilda Mundson Farrell from Gilda, and E. Edward Grey from Secretary are the main ones for me!
