What Are Other 'Disturbing' Movies With 'Shock Value'

One other film that (I think) no one called out yet is "Quills". Marquis De Sade, no question, is the expert of shocking material.. and this great film is about him.

Oldboy is already called out but the other two movies in that sequel are worth mentioning: "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance" and "My Lady Vengeance". Korea, I think, is where many surprising and quite shocking movies originate from..

I mean you guys have basically named 'em all, but do most agree that Irreversible should be at the top of everyone's list. I really gotta say that everyone refers to the rape scene as the most disturbing part of the movie but my vote goes to the opening-- Man!
When he breaks his arm and then finally gets his head bashed in..."I'm gonna f*&k you in the ass!" still rings in my head. That movie is definitely one of a kind!

Hands down, it would have to be "Salo"!
